"The GOOD, the BAD and the UGLY"
INTENSIVE WORKSHOP TOUR 2007
This truly is going to be an action-packed, sometimes controversial and content rich workshop where I intend to take you 'behind the scenes' of what really goes on in 100s of organisations and across all sectors. I'm going to reveal to you...the GOOD - what really does work, the BAD - what doesn't work and the UGLY!
I have never publicly presented so much of this information before, but it will 'blow the lid' wide open for you on what will really bring you and your organisation, large or small, incredible success!
You will find all the details presented in great depth below so you know exactly what will be covered. Just don't wait too long as so many disappointed people missed out on the 2006 'High Five' Tour when many venues sold out early!
CHECK OUT ALL THE DETAILS AND SEE YOU THERE! |

Now for our overseas members and others who won't be joining us at the workshop (although a trip might be just what you need!). We're going to 'plant some seeds' for you on the number one reason so many volunteer management and membership programs are less successful than they could be.
The Secret To Volunteer Management Success! It's All In Your...
Over the years, I've had the opportunity (with the assistance of my team) to present to and consult and work with so many organisations involved with volunteer recruitment, volunteer recognition and volunteer manageemnt When examining how to ensure the continued success of these organisations, there has always been one main reason that leads to on-going success or ultimately their demise.
Too many times, it is assumed and stated by people in organisations that their volunteer recruitment or membership programs would be more successful...
More Passion
If only..."we had more people with PASSION". There's so many people who believe in their cause with great passion, but their organisations are still disintegrating. Sometimes passion can keep you going 'against all odds' but it can also blind you to alternative ways to get there.
More Work
If only..."we had more people who would WORK HARDER". Even the most dedicated and hard-working paid staff and volunteers have not been able save their group or organisation heading stubbornly down the wrong path.
More Money$$$
If only... "we had more MONEY and RESOURCES". More money and resources are always useful but understand that there will never be enough money and resources. The more you have, the more your organization's needs expand to swallow that up and more. Indeed, even some of the most resource-rich organisations are barely recruiting volunteers and retaining them. As long as your 'catch cry' is that it will all be right when we have more money and resources, you are destined not to make the most of what you've already got!
It's All In Your...
In reality, none of these are the number one reason. The real reason why your organisation or group may not ultimately be as successful as it could be in your volunteer recruitment and membership programs is summed up in one word, your....
STRATEGIES
Quite simply, it's the strategies that you adopt and use that will ultimately result in your success or demise.
You see, you can have all the passion, dedication, hard work and resources in the world. You can be a very large organisation with hundreds of paid staff and volunteers. You can be a small all-volunteer local group. It does not matter! It is the strategies you use to achieve your goals that will make all the difference to your ultimate success.
Don't misunderstand! I am not talking about the concept of strategic planning. Long-term strategic planning has been very difficult for some organisations to implement. By the time their complex, inflexible strategic plan has finally been put into place - everything has changed and it is already out-of-date.
